Ways To Wear the Controversial Trend: Fur!

Posted in Uncategorized on March 29, 2012 by touchofsuave

Nude Furry Shrug

Singer Nicole Scherzinger sports a sexy fitted dress, taking the chill off with a cropped fur shrug of the same color. Accessorizing with a matching bag and shoes, she’s nailed sophistication. The monochromatic look is classy and put-together, and it can be done in black, brown, white, and yes, cream as Scherzinger did it. Steal her look by dressing in one color from head to toe. Sometimes matchy-matchy is sexy-sexy

Dark Chocolate

Actress Madeline Duggan shows us how it’s done in a gorgeous chocolate-colored fur coat layered over a classy black jumpsuit and leopard print belt. Finishing off her look are leopard pumps and a matching clutch. These accessories accent the rich chocolate brown of her fur coat. Rock this look just as Duggan did by staying in a two-tone color palette. Adding a lush fur to match completes the look and elevates it to classy status.

Casually Chic

Model Maryna Linchuk shows us the fur trend can be casual-chic, too. Rockin’ a long, flowing skirt, belted, with sparkly sneakers, she really takes her fur to a whole different level. Linchuk shows that fur is not just for red carpet night. You can rock a fur with a simple outfit like Linchuk did. One fuzzy, soft garment can take you from just casual to chic in seconds.

Winter Doesnt Mean Goth & Boring!!!

Posted in Uncategorized on March 28, 2012 by touchofsuave

Winter is almost here, but remember, winter doesn’t mean boring, give gray, black, brown and all those earthy colours a break and splash your neons on…

If you’re not a risk taker and you like your style a little more laid back, you can always fuse your earthy colours with just one item of neon-colour, for example, all black everything and a shocking yellow man-bag/ tie/ leather/just gloves etc

The old english look is also back by popular demand, cropped sailor pants, lace-ups, crisp white/checked shirt, buttoned royal navy blazers dashed with anything else of your choice, personally I’d dash those with a shocking colourful skinny belt.

SideNote: If you’re too tall NEVER fold your pants and your top/blazer at the same time, try to sacrifice one, or you’d look ridiculous

Keeping Up With The Carters

Beyonce leaves an office building with her daughter, Blue Ivy, on Tuesday (March 27) in New York City.

The 30-year-old entertainer, joined by mom Tina Knowles, kept Blue warm in a fur baby sling.

“Beyonce says Blue changes every day and looks just like Jay[-Z] now,” singer Melanie Fiona – who is co-managed by Jay – recently told Us Weekly.

“He’s in a good mood all the time!” she added. “[And Beyonce] just is so happy. I’ve seen Bey like 3 times since she’s had the baby, and she’s just glowing and she’s saying [motherhood] is the best, and she just loves it!”

I’m seriously starting to worry about that poor baby’s looks hey, and Beyonce just chills there and says “I’m very blessed” #SMH

Basketball Wives’ star Miss Lozada graced this month’s issue of Kontrol Magazine, critics think she should stick to our screens because she’s not photogenic, what’s your take on that?
I personally think she looks too-haute-for-words in that shocking pink sequin dress, that’s just my opinion, not being biased whatsoever 🙂

Rihanna Finds Comfort In Nudity

Rihanna wears a cap with the word “Boy” while catching a flight at LAX Airport on Monday (March 26) in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old pop star recently opened up about gaining confidence after she started showing some more skin.

“The more I got naked, the more comfortable I felt. I just had to face my fear. You always find something wrong, you always find something you’re uncomfortable with, and one thing turns into another and you get embarrassed and self-conscious about it,” Rihanna told Britain’s Women’s Fitness.

“After a while, it was like, ‘What’s the worst that can happen?’ I just started being a little more daring with it,” Rihanna added (via People). “It was just knowing my body … is what it is under clothes or outside of clothes.”
